Skate Park Out of Action

Having been alerted to extensive damage to the top of the half-pipe ramp at the Skate Park the Parish Council has met with the contractor who built, and has been repairing, the ramps. An already accepted quote for more minor repairs has been amended to address the more substantial damage and work is scheduled for Tuesday 22nd October.

The damaged ramp has been taped of and signage installed explaining that the ramp is not safe to use in its current state. If you are a skate park user yourself, or know someone who uses the facility, please ensure the area remains taped of and signs are left in place and make sure you stay of the ramp.

The Parish Council remains committed to this facility but is also aware that the wooden ramps do have a limited life. If you would like to get involved in the discussion and plan to look into a replacement skate park please to contact the council by phoning or emailing the Clerk.
